In response to this post...i want to add that we received very upsetting news regarding the MAM..it will no longer be called Miami Art Museum due to a donation of 35 mill$ or so by Jorge Perez, which in exchange wants the MAM to be called after him. uugh!
ReplyDeleteWhere are his ethics and respect for an institution that has been building it's reputable identity in a city that already struggles with the lack of art- conscious minds, but even so Growing. Why disregard all of that?
