Esperanza Project

Hello guys,

I am using this post to share with all of you "Esperanza" project which is a socio-artistic project that I am doing with a partner María F. Pérez. Esperanza seeks to promote peace in Venezuela by exposing huge photographic portraits of mothers who have lost a son/daughter because of violence. The look in the eyes of these brave women conveys a clamor for peace, an invitation to respect the life of every individual in Venezuela.

So far we have photographed 28 women. We going to paste the images at the end of October or at the begining of November. The images will be glued on walls and buildings located in public places of Caracas, the main city.

"Esperanza" is an action group of the world wide movement “Inside Out”, led by JR artist (TED winner 2011).

You can check more information at the website: www.esperanzavenezuela.com . At the end of the links you may find English content.

Here I share with you a flyer that we did to promote the project. The image of these hands are actually of one of the participants.

Thanks for reading,

Peace,

Carolina
